 Gordon Jones, DHA, MHSA, PAHM, PPM Dr. Gordon Jones has been a healthcare executive working internationally
for over 17 years. Below you will see a brief overview of Dr. Jones’ experience that he brings to his coaching. If you

Prior to going
out on his own, Dr. Jones served as an internal consultant for the business development and strategy team at NDC|Health of Atlanta, GA, a leading international health information management company (now a part of McKesson). In
the mid 90s Dr. Jones lead the entrée into the Southeast for the 3rd largest publicly traded physician practice
management company with the territory generating over $100 million in annual revenues.
Dr. Jones is currently serving as the Administrator of his wife's private Pediatric Speech, Language, and Occupational
Therapy practice (www.tiofga.com) and assisting the company in its expansion of Modified Barium Swallow Studies. Other assignments
he has supported include the initiation of a new web-native telemedicine application (currently being built) utilizing proprietary
Voice and Video over the Internet (VVoIP) technology. He assisted in the development of the Resource Partners’ Clinical Research Network to provide physicians with access to the RPRN electronic disease management system which includes
a robust web-based electronic medical record for the physician, a easily accessible electronic personal health record for
patients, and the health assessment and disease management tools need to provide health quality care. As network members each
physician is invited to participate in clinical research as an investigator bringing advance medical care directly to their
patients. Dr. Jones consults with a Foreign Biotech Company developing an in-vitro diagnostic blood screening technology for the early detection of Ovarian
and Breast Cancers. He is assisting the coordination of US operations, initial capital and contracting with research institution
resources for international clinical validation of the process. He assisted an Australian
dental technology Company to deploy the World’s first imaged guided computer assisted dental
surgical system utilizing CT and Infrared technologies through their US subsidiary company. He also has worked with small and large employers to redesign traditional health plans, create consumer driven health plans, develop implementation plans, and employee education
programs.
Dr. Jones also has 4 plus years of direct health system management
experience and 7 years of military time in the US Army stationed at Fort Bragg, NC in the 319th Field Artillery Battalion,
82nd Airborne Division, and in the SC National Guard. Dr. Jones is an Adjunct Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina’s College
of Health Professions. He has published original research and review articles on healthcare management and technology
issues, and is the creator of the “Staging Innovation in Healthcare”© process. His doctoral research focused
on the issue of eHealth Consumerism in Healthcare and the adoption of the Internet in the physician practice.
Dr. Jones is a graduate of The Citadel, The University of South Carolina, and The Medical University of South Carolina, where he completed both a Master’s and Doctorate in Health Administration. He is the
son of Frederic G. Jones, MD, a Cardiologist and Internationally renowned Physician Executive, and Lynn Peterson Jones. Dr. Jones is
currently or has served the community as a Director of the Board for the Foundation for Therapy Options, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of the Charleston
Area Business Council, and he is the founding Chairman of the Chamber’s First Annual Healthcare and Wellness Conference
for Business. He is a Paul Harris Fellow with the Rotary International and he supports the South Carolina Special
Olympics, the MUSC Health Sciences Foundation, the Trident United Way, the Gibbes Art Museum, the South Carolina French Huguenot
Society, the Second Presbyterian Church of Charleston, and their missions to contribute-in-service to their communities.
He plays tennis,
a bit of golf, and competes on a regional level in Olympic and Ironman Distance Triathlons. At the international
level Dr Jones competes in the sport Beach Ultimate where in 2004 he was a member of the US Men’s Masters Team earning the Silver at the
World Championships in Portugal, and where this past December he was a member of the 2007 Team in Brazil winning
the Gold at the World Championships.
Dr. Jones has lived and traveled extensively throughout the US, Western
& Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Central & South America. He brings all of this life and professional experience to you as

Jennifer Jones, PhD, CCC-SLP
Dr. Jones is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist
and ACE recipient with over 15 years experience in the field of dysphagia. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Deaf Education
and Elementary Education from Converse College in 1992. Dr. Jones completed her Masters in Speech Pathology (M.S.P.) in 1996
and her Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in 2003 from the University of South Carolina.
Dr. Jones
spent her first 5 years as a speech-language pathologist working with adult and pediatric populations in the hospital in-patient,
out-patient and in-home settings. She worked with a variety of disabilities including, head-neck cancer, stroke, traumatic
brain injury (TBI), dysphagia, receptive and expressive language disorders and hearing impaired. She ventured into private
practice in January of 2001 by founding Therapeutic Interventions of Georgia, Inc., which has grown exponentially over the
past 6 years. Dr. Jones primarily works with children who have oral-motor, feeding and swallowing impairments. She has extensive
training with cochlear implants, sensory disorders and feeding problems.
Dr. Jones was an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department
of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of South Carolina for 6 years where she taught Adult and Child Dysphagia.
She retired from teaching to grow her practice, develop continuing education courses and complete the 2nd edition of her book.
Dr. Jones is a lecturer for local and state conferences on pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. She created a local
conference on interdisciplinary evaluation and treatment of feeding and swallowing disorders titled the "Eatin' Meetin.'"

is also the author of "As They Grow: Motor Development from Birth to Six." For information about her book or the

Frederic G. Jones, Sr. M.D. CPE, FACPE
Dr. Jones served for 20 years as Executive Vice-President for
Medical Affairs at Anderson Area Medical Center, a 567-bed community teaching hospital in Anderson, SC. He led the hospital
through nine successful Joint Commission surveys. The last three resulted in accreditation with commendation. In his senior
management position, he staffed the board quality and credentialing functions and regularly attended board meetings. He served
as director of medical education and chaired the South Carolina Area Health Education Council. The SC AHEC, in 1997, was awarded
the National Primary Care Award. Dr. Jones held appointments as Professor of Family
Medicine and Assistant Dean at the Medical University of South Carolina. After retirement, he served as medical director for
the award winning Anderson Partners for a Healthy Community initiative, which documented some $34 millions saving in healthcare
cost avoidance.
A native of Waycross, Georgia, he attended Wofford College and is a graduate of the University
of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia. His training in internal medicine and cardiology was at Grady Hospital-Emory
University. He is certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. A Naval Flight Surgeon, he participated in military
aircraft accident investigation and received the Sikorsky Award for helicopter sea rescues with US Coast Guard. Subsequently,
he transferred to the US Air Force medical service, continuing on flight status. At Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, he supervised
the internal medicine residency program and was chief of cardiology. He later established a residency in internal medicine
at Wright Patterson USAF medical center, where he served as chairman of the department of medicine. A Fellow of the American
College of Cardiology, he served the College as Governor for the Air Force. He was board certified by the
American College of Medical Quality and by the board of Medical management. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American College
of Physician Executives and served as chair of the Forum on Healthcare Quality and the Council of Fellows. He serves as a
teaching fellow in the CPE tutorials and served on the credentials committee of the Certifying Commission in Medical Management.
He participated in the ACPE International Forum and studied health systems in a number of European countries.
He is an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators. He is the author of 25 journal
articles and several book chapters. He developed a keen interest in reducing medical errors by applying lessons learned in
air safety. His work in hospital quality improvement was recognized in Michael L. Millenson’s Demanding Medical
Excellence.
He serves as a senior consultant to medical staffs for the Greeley Company and Premier, Inc.
His assignments have often included coaching/mentoring of physician executives and medical staff leaders. He served as consultant
to the King Faisal Specialist Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He has served as interim chief medical officer at Yuma (AZ)
Regional Medical Center, Salem Hospital, Oregon, and Saint Joseph Hospital in Michigan. He has presented seminars on creating
the culture for peer review to a several hospital systems. In August, 2007, he was the physician member of a Premier team
assessing all aspects of the cardiac service line for AtlantiCare System at two sites in Atlantic City Recent consultant activity
with Premier, Inc. involves assisting hospitals in completing transition to a core credentialing process and establishing
a framework for meeting the current Joint Commission standards for Competency.
Dr Jones, and his wife Lynn Peterson
Jones, currently resides at The Sapphire Lakes Country Club in North Carolina. He enjoys tennis, golf, photography and water
color painting. He is a past president of the Anderson Rotary Club. He is a current member of the Transylvania Community Hospital
Board and its Quality Council. He is in his 24th year of volunteering and participates in the metabolic clinic, with the Volunteers-in-Medicine
of Transylvania County.
